About the Founder of Precious People International

Jonathan Micah Paolercio is the founder of Precious People International. He graduated with a degree in practical theology from Oral Roberts University in 1996, as well as received a Master of Arts in Mission Studies in 1999.

Precious People International falls under the non-profit 501(c)3 covering of India Mission founded in 1998 by Jonathan M. Paolercio. In 1998, India was the central focus of Jonathan’s vision to touch the lost with the love of God. (You can read more on the history of India Mission by hitting the link at the top.)

About Precious People International

Why the name as Precious People International?
The word precious means highly valuable. All people are highly valuable to the heart of God. God is . . . not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (II Peter 3:9, NIV). For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16, NIV).

Why are all people highly valuable? First, people are all made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26). Part of God is in every person alive right now. Last, but not least, people are of such great worth because 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross for all people (I Peter 1:18-19). It took the blood of priceless worth to redeem each person who is of priceless value.

Jesus said, . . . I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me (Matthew 25:40, NIV). When we touch people with the love of God in deed and in word, we are touching Jesus Himself.
